Steel, zinc, paint
Edition of 8
An abstract sculpture that explores line, form and space. The work has a sense of flow and movement. The effect is pronounced when one walks around the sculpture. Taking inspiration from traditional Islamic art and forms found in nature such meandering streams or rising flames/smoke. The geometric arrangement creates a sense of balance, continuity and harmony. This is a common theme with Moorhouse’s sculptures that they are symmetrical, proportional, and balanced.
Made from steel and finished with zinc and paint. The work changes in appearance as the light catches the different flanges according to the time of day.
