Antimo
This sculpture takes its name for the Sant Antimo abbey in Toscana. The form reflects the cypresses trees found in the neighbouring landscape.
This is part of a series of abstract sculpture that take their inspiration from forms found in nature. The geometric arrangement creates a sense of balance, continuity and harmony. This is a common theme with the forms being symmetrical, proportional, and balanced.
Light interacts with the sculpture as it creates different shadows on the flanges at different times of the day/year.
